On-boarding is a huge area of user experience design. In general minimal onboarding should be the number 1 priority for a UX’er - i.e. we shouldn’t need to explicitly tell the user what they need to do in each steps but there can be times when complex ideas need communicating.
This is where illustration can be used to communicate abstract ideas and to nudge the user into doing something without explicitly telling them what to do.
Sign up screens, quick tutorials and nudging a user to start an action can all be enhanced by Illustration. It is quick (the below was turned out in less than a day) and can be quickly altered when doing user testing. It fits into a brand easily as colours can be directly controlled to enhance the brand.
Below are some examples with headings to create a loose brief. if you are interested in illustration or a general UX /Product overhaul then get in touch by email or fill out the form below.

Work in Progress: Non Profit idea around donations and tracking where they go
I wanted to see if I could use technology as a way to increase donations by sharing the narrative on the item the user donates. A lot of the time donations are seen as another way of throwing things away. What if you saw where all of your items end up?
You’d probably donate more…
